WRAP DECISIONS

2 IDEAS FROM ME

  • Reality-test assumptions for critical decisions. A few years ago, a routine blood test showed complete kidney failure on 7 of 8 tests. I felt fine, but decided to retest to verify. The retest came back normal. Don’t believe every test result you get. Tests are complex procedures with many failure mechanisms.

  • My Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) reported 3-month diabetic glucose of 6.5%. I reality-tested the readings with a blood glucose test (A1C) which was 5.8% (Pre-diabetic).
