CULTIVATING GRACE
2 IDEAS FROM ME
Life iteself is grace. The Japanese worldview of “wabi-sabi” cultivates grace through nature’s imperfections, impermanence, and incompleteness. This worldview compels you to look around and see the world for what it is and what it could be. Adopting a “wabi-sabi” worldview is the first step toward grace and enlightenment. With this worldview, it’s possible to cultivate grace daily from the inside out.
Why does flourishing in the face of adversity require the resolve and tools to grow with grace and sisu? Because imperfections are common to all humanity. Perfection is not attainable, but growth is. It takes mindfulness tools to understand reality, grace to empathically respect the imperfections, and sisu to grow against all odds in spite of likely failures.
