EFFORT & PARETO
2 IDEAS FROM ME
The Pareto Principle (aka 80/20 rule) states that 80% of the results are created by 20% of the effort. You can solve 80% of your problems by fixing 20% of the root causes.
Sometimes it’s better to be more like a cruise missile (ready, fire, aim) than a marksman (ready, aim, fire). Cruise missiles launch in the general direction of the target and then make course modifications for obstacles. A marksman does not fire until there are no obstacles because there’s no ability to adjust after firing.

“I’ve been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.” —Leonardo da Vinci
“People with a growth mindset believe that they can improve with effort. They outperform those with a fixed mindset, even when they have a lower IQ, because they embrace challenges, treating them as opportunities to learn something new.” —Travis Bradberry
