1. Growth is the silver lining in adversity. It’s the ability to transcend above previous levels of consciousness and performance. Powering through adversity and failing to grow is not just a lost opportunity but can be a one-way door that ends your life. With the right resolve, any challenge or mistake becomes an opportunity to grow.

2. Resolve without the right tools can be fatal or so miserably exhausting that it’s impossible to succeed.  For example, trying to climb any glaciated mountain without the right tools such as ice axe, crampons, rope, pickets, training, etc. could be fatal.  One slip with no ability to self-arrest and stop the fall could catapult you into oblivion.  Those with psychological or medical conditions such as ADHD, GAD, Type I Diabetes, Pulmonary Embolisms, or heart disease may require tools such as medicine and therapy.  No amount of resolve will enable you to survive and thrive if you fail to address chemical imbalances with the right nutrition, medicine, and therapy.
